Glenda (Abston) Lemon

Glenda “Abston” Lemon, 82, of Cooper, Texas passed away Friday January 23, 2026.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday January 28, 2026, at First Baptist Church Reverend Johnny Witherspoon will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Glenda was born in Cooper, Texas January 6, 1944, to Earnest Wise and Medie Bell “Jaco” Abston. They preceded her in death as well as her daughter: Cristy Lemon, brother: Billy Abston, sister: Geneva Vaughn.

Glenda was an Interior Designer and a wonderful seamstress, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Cooper, Texas.

Survivors include her husband Claud Lemon of Cooper, Texas, son Eddy Lemon and wife Angela, four grandchildren Jessica Jenkins, Cheyenne Malone, Micah Lemon, and Zachary Haney, great grandchildren Kylee Lynch and Matthew Haney.
